Customer Support Recovery Specialist - MCSE, CCNA
London
up to £30,000 + plus car allowance, annual bonus, medical, dental, travel insurance, non-contributory pension
Our client is a global player in the IT Services sector: their services keep people and information connected, from proactive business continuity through reactive disaster recovery to interactive high availability solutions, thereby helping over 10,000 clients worldwide have uninterrupted access to their business-critical information systems. They currently seek a Recovery Specialist to join the team in London.
As Recovery Specialist, you are to assist the Recovery Specialist with the setup, execution and clear down for all customer tests and provide technical support where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Respond at time of invocation to provide technical support for any UK Workplace recovery.
- Respond to any other call out which may affect the company Recovery Centre, Customers Equipment and Support to other dept within Service Delivery whenever is required by a Senior Manager
- Escalate Workplace issues to the Team Leader/ Workplace Manager
- Escalate facility and infrastructure issues to Service desk, Site Manager and Team leader/Workplace Manager
- Escalate health and safety issues to Service desk and relevant Manager
- Ensure site documentation is managed and maintained
- Ensure site inventory data is maintained and current
- Provide technical support for Workplace related activities
- Provide project support for Workplace related activities
- Provide on site technical support for all Workplace customer testing
Qualifications/Competencies:
- GCSE, A level or equivalent, Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
- Microsoft Certified, System Engineer (MCSE) qualification in Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 (Desirable)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- High skill level in problem resolution, customisation and build to completion for servers, ghosting tools, PC images and Avaya Definity switches (Avaya Definity PBX, Avaya System Admin, ACD, Intuity, Voice Mail).
- ASA certification desirable
- Competent on voice & data communications
- Report writing
- Presentation skills
