Our client is the leading provider of real-time pricing aggregation services and data products for the OTC credit and credit derivatives market. They seek a strong hands-on 1st Line Client Support Professional for their Helpdesk Team with at least some previous experience interfacing with clients in the Financial Services industry.
The role:
Key responsibilities will include the provision of application, technical and data support. The role will also involve working closely with the Sales and Implementation Teams.
Candidates must have a strong client orientation, excellent problem solving skills, a highly professional demeanor and be able to work well under pressure while handling multiple tasks. They must posses excellent telephone and written communication skills. They should also exhibit a strong interest in the commercial as well as technical aspects of the job and be able to demonstrate the flexibility and commitment expected within a small growing company.
All candidates must be positive and open, fast learners and quick thinking with a strong attention to detail. The role will be based in our London office, based in Piccadilly.
Required Technical Skills:
* Microsoft Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 / 2000 and Windows XP
* Windows Services, Windows Registry, Event Viewer, Performance Monitoring and general troubleshooting
* Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2000
* Microsoft Office 2003 / XP / 2000 – Especially Outlook and Excel (Excel Add-ins and Macros)
* Remote Support and Remote Access Technologies – VPN, WebEx, Citrix, Windows Remote Desktop, etc.
* Helpdesk Call Logging System
Exposure to any of the following is a plus:
* Market Data Applications (Bloomberg / Reuters, etc)
* SalesForce CRM System
* Microsoft Exchange Server
* Lotus Domino Server / Lotus Notes Client
* TCP/IP Networking (Port Usage, Command Line Utilities, etc)
* Credit Derivatives / Fixed Income
