Our client provides outsourced contact centre and fulfilment services. Whatever your communication needs, they can offer a flexible and tailored service to match the needs and budget of their client's project. They are looking to recruit a Development Engineer.
The role:
A leading outsourced contact centre and fulfilment service provider to the public sector is looking to recruit a Development Engineer based in Manchester city centre. Reporting to the IS Development Manager you will require a proven track record of developing web based transaction driven systems. This is a new role to strengthen a small development team proving bespoke solutions to customers. The role requires the following technical skills:
* A proven commercial track record of developing web based transaction driven systems using Microsoft technologies (IIS, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server)
* A sound understanding of structured systems development and object oriented programming
* Experience in designing reports using report writing tools
* Experience in formal project methodologies, e.g. RAD or PRINCE2
* Ideally, experience of SharePoint and related technologies (e.g. InfoPath, MS Office integration)
You will have strong communication and customer service skills. You must possess an enthusiasm for finding IS solutions and ensuring that they meet the needs of the business and the customer. This is an excellent opportunity in a growing premium service provider.
