.NET Analyst Programmer – C#
Tyne and Wear, Newcastle

Our client is a leading supplier of business management software and services to 5.2 million customers worldwide. From small start-ups to larger organisations, they make it easier for companies to manage their business processes. They are looking to recruit an Analyst Programmer.
The role:
They are currently looking to recruit a .NET Analyst Programmer to help develop internal systems at the company. The role is working as a part of a strong development team within their Information Systems (IS) department.
You will be primarily responsible for the development enterprise-wide business systems that drive the entire business from customer relationship management through to liaising with their business partners using the web.
The team is a high profile group that utilise the latest technology using the Agile XP development methodology, and work closely with their internal customers. The .NET Analyst Programmer is at the centre of the development process. All their new development work is done using C#.NET and SQL Server – they are enthusiastic about the use of up-to-date technologies and have a very strong technical capability.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of how a large business system is analysed, designed and written; also a chance to experience first hand the challenges associated with supporting and continually developing a system in direct response to user requirements.
Skills Required
1. Experience of enterprise development in .NET (preferably using C#)
2. Thorough knowledge of the Visual Studio.NET IDE and the .NET framework and a major RDBMS
3. Experience with multi-tiered application design
4. Experience of unit and integration testing techniques
5. Experience of gathering user requirements and translating these into code

1. Develop code to the high standards set by the team
2. Be an active and enthusiastic team player and willing to work as one of a programming pair (if / when required)
3. Be committed to meeting tight deadlines or going that extra mile to help colleagues where necessary
