IBM AIX Support Analyst (2nd line support) for a client based in Faversham, Kent. They require a very experienced engineer with 7 years AIX administration and strong knowledge of IBM p-Series and scripting (shell & perl) (Shell & Perl). You will also require management of high availability clusters. You will also be involvement if p-Series hardware, firmware and software upgrades. You need training on AIX system administration. You will be providing 2nd line support for the IBM p-Series platform and associated network services. If you hold an IBM Certification then this would be a major advantage as would some oracle administration experience, Linux, tcp/ip, WAN/LAN.
