Worldwide Field Applications Engineer (C, SoC Devices, Development, Support), North Hertforshire, Up to £50K You will have good communications skills and be able to represent the company in a professional manner at all times. You will be expected to travel to customer sites worldwide, sometimes at short notice. You will need to have a flexible attitude, and be comfortable in the presence of customers and pressurised situations. You should have a good electronic engineering or embedded software background, or similar, with particular experience of working in C. You should also be familiar with electronic circuit design and debug. Minimum Requirements; A good degree, probably in Electronic Engineering, Computing or a related discipline. C programmer. Preferably with good recent experience, especially embedded systems. Electronic engineering skills, familiarity with analysers, scopes, ICE etc. Passion for technology. Perhaps a hobby interest. Ability to travel worldwide. This role would suit an Engineer with strong background in Consumer Electronics, who can look after customers around the world and talk in technical terms to every level of customer.
