Our client is the UK arm of one of Europe's largest and most successful IT Services Organisations. The UK is one of the fastest growing and most strategically important markets for the Group, delivering a full range of IT Services to many of the UK's leading organisations.
They are looking for a .Net Architect who is mobile within the South East. The role involves the overall design and full lifecycle implementation of solutions to meet customer requirements. This will require rapid understanding of customer's needs and environment and providing suitable architectural solutions based on .NET and complimentary technologies.
You will hold the following mandatory skills:
- Strong, demonstrable .NET experience in C#.NET, VB.NET and ASP.NET
- Broad technical experience with multiple project implementations.
- Demonstrable experience in converting business requirements into high-level designs into practical solutions architectures.
- Proven ability to design technical solutions around multiple database technologies including SQL Server 2000+ and Oracle.
- Track record of introducing/designing new and innovative solutions for the customer
- Knowledge of design patterns and UML
In addition, the below attributes would be beneficial to your application:
- Exposure to agile methodologies
- Exposure to project estimation
- Good experience with processes and structured approach to work within a quality environment is required
- Exposure to solutions involving products from the MS EcoSystem BizTalk, CMS, Sharepoint etc.
As you will be expected to work with clients and alongside various teams, including being heavily involved with presales you will also require the following personal attributes:
- Customer focused with client facing experience as must be able to lead the customer and work with them closely
- Excellent written and oral communicator and experienced presenter
- Team player and successful at coaching others
- Ideally from a consulting or software house background
