Leading European Consultancy and Oracle Partner, who has recently been awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ has an immediate vacancy for an Oracle Applications database administrator with current experience of Oracle R11i. This is an exciting new role in an ambitious and growing Oracle consultancy.
You will support our clients across the UK in the analysis, implementation, upgrade and support of the Oracle eBusiness Suite. You will have a proven background and experience of R11i and a sound understanding of Oracle architecture. This experience is likely to have been gained in a consulting environment giving you exposure to a variety of platforms and operating systems.
Experience required:
2 - 3 years Oracle Applications DBA
3 – 4 years Oracle DBA
Mandatory skills:
• Oracle database administration (to 9i)
• Oracle applications database administration (to R11.5.9)
• Oracle webserver
• Oracle forms / reports server
• Performance tuning
• Capacity management & planning
Desirable skills:
• Oracle Workflow
• Oracle Discoverer
• Oracle 10g
