Our client, a leading player in the digital TV industry, currently require engineers for permanent positions in the technical infrastructure group. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least 4 years relevant experience and ideally some broadcast industry background. These are demanding but rewarding positions, providing a high level of service support engineering and development teams. Main duties include the provision and maintenance of equiptment and systems; technical assistance; learn about internal systems; maintain equiptment/systems records; maintain up-to-date knowledge of systems. Candidates must be prepared to travel overseas for short periods of time and have most of the following skills: Hardware and/or software config of PCs or servers; MPEG compression equiptment; Broadcast/RF engineering; Win, Unix or NT op systems; hands on hardware config/wiring sys. diagrams; customer support; project engineering; system build/config. Knowledge of Digital and Analogue Broadcast Systems and/or an awareness of commercial significance of digital broadcast systems would be a distinct advantage.
