Our client are a leading banking corporation who are seeking a 2nd/3rd level support administrator with excellent knowledge of developing, maintaining UNIX infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have previous experience experience of working within a trading environment. You must be able to handle 2nd/3rd level enquiries efficiently as well as participate in the day to day progression/administration of the UNIX project work. You must be able to install and maintain Sun Solaris servers, with the ability to administer Solaris 2.6 & 8. Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP, NIS, Veritas, Netbackup and Jumpstart, VXFS, VCS would be advantageous. Knowledge of Summit Murex MXG2000, LDAP, would be preferable but not essential.
