Our client, a global financial institution is currently looking for a WEBSPHERE SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER for a prestigious 6 month (maybe longer) contract based at their South London offices. Your role as Websphere Systems Programmer will be to provide both support and project services to the consumer and corporate bank. For this role you will be a skilled software professional with at least 2 years experience of Websphere Application Server (v4 & v5) for z/OS and a broad knowledge of Websphere related software. Along with this a further 5 years of z/OS or OS/390 systems programming in a large mainframe environment. Experience of CICS and Websphere MQ would be an advantage. Knowledge and experience of implementing large mainframe J2EE applications from a systems administration, performance and problem diagnosis perspective is essential.
