IPT Support Engineer

As IPT Support Engineer you will further strengthen the Managed Solutions Technical Support team, providing highly professional customer focussed support for our strategic customer portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be able to contribute through the full lifecycle of large scale IPT deployments; enforcing best practise during feasibility assessment, design reviews, operational acceptance testing, performance management, and incident and problem management.
This role offers a great opportunity for support engineers looking for greater hands on experience at all levels of large, often complex, customer installations, offering excellent career prospects for the right candidates.
Key skills and attributes to this role include:
- Experience in an IP or PBX operational environment, with Cisco IPT.
- A minimum of CCVP would be preferable.
- Proven and highly effective fault diagnosis and problem solving skills in an operations environment.
- Strong document reviewing skills with precise attention to detail, particularly in handover and acceptance activities
- Highly resourceful, with strong motivation skills - both personally and within a team.
- Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment, and swift to gain new skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong awareness of IPT industry and direction
