Our client is the UK arm of one of Europe's largest and most successful IT Services Organisations. The UK is one of the fastest growing and most strategically important markets for the Group, delivering a full range of IT Services to many of the UK's leading organisations. They wish to recruit a Service Delivery Manager to assist in the substantial further development of its business with a major national Client.
Role requirements
The Service Delivery Manager will occupy a pivotal role in the management of the delivery of the Company's services to the Client, working with the Client's central engagement team.
They will drive the central engagement lifecycle through:
1. Developing a pipeline of work through identifying and understanding potential future work streams
2. High-level planning in order to support the delivery of the above
3. Day-to-day interaction with the Client's central engagement team
4. Preparing external and internal governance documents
5. Assessing the suitability of work items for Company delivery
6. Regular management reporting to and meetings with both the Client and the Company
7. Continuous service improvement
8. Financial management.
Mandatory Skills:
1. Client management
2. Project management
3. Portfolio management
4. Financial management
5. Management reporting
6. Strong application development and/or testing experience
7. A good knowledge of the Financial Services industry
8. A good understanding of the application of IT to the meeting of business objectives
9. A good understanding of delivery and support processes.
