Graphic Designer
London, North West London NW10
£20,000 – £25,000 pa plus performance bonus
Our client is one of the leading IT distributors in Europe. Their “Integral” memory products are used in digital cameras, mobiles and MP3 players throughout the world. They are entering a very exciting phase in their development and are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer with some web experience.
The role:
Based in NW London within a small but busy marketing team, you will be working as an in-house designer on varied projects including: developing quality work for brochures, marketing collateral, manuals, packaging, adverts, presentations, direct mail, e-marketing, exhibition graphics, small websites and point of sale, taking print from the initial idea to press ready artwork. (Strong graphics designers with limited web experience are welcome as training can be given).
You will be also working with the sales team in producing professional, eye-catching direct marketing, presentations and proposals that win business. Some knowledge of IT products or gadgets would be useful.
You will be talented, creative, articulate, proactive, and enthusiastic, with a sense of humour and a good eye for detail with a strong background in design, topped with a keen interest in getting involved in all aspects of marketing within a small team.
Qualifications: Degree or HNC/D in Graphic Design or similar or Marketing Qualification and some previous experience would be advantageous
You will be proficient in the use of Quark/In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop, with a working knowledge of some of the following: Dream Weaver, HTML, Fireworks, Flash or other video packages. French/Spanish language skills would be helpful but are not essential.
Ideally applicants should reside in commuting distance of London NW10, or otherwise will be willing to relocate.
