Business Systems Analyst
£25,000 £35,000 depending on experience
London and the South East
Our client was formed as the result of the merger between two well established businesses, a London based media firm and a Kent company specialising in bespoke applications development and project management. They are looking to recruit a Business Systems Analyst.
The role:
Candidate should possess the following abilities
Competent use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio
Ability to interact with customers whilst identifying solutions during analysis phases
Able to produce clear solution documents
Project Control tasks
Understand Gantt charts previous use of MS Project would be desirable
Have undertaken resource planning people vs tasks
Self motivated approach to project tasks.
List of Tasks to be performed
For each project being undertaken in the company, the following tasks should be performed:-
Analysis and Project Work
Formulate business and technical solutions to client issues
Hold meetings and workshops or training courses to determine a solution with internal staff and/or clients during project lifecycle
Produce clear and detailed Business Analysis documents
Produce clear and detailed Systems documents (database structures, code module specifications)
Assist in producing project plans identifying tasks, resources and timelines
Assist in tracking projects and developments against plans
Assist in testing outputs against requirements to ensure correct delivery
Produce technical documentation and user documentation as required on a project
Contribute to the company's knowledge base relating to new technologies.
