Our client is the UK arm of one of Europe's largest and most successful IT Services Organisations. The UK is one of the fastest growing and most strategically important markets for the Group, delivering a full range of IT Services to many of the UK's leading organisations.
Our client requires an experienced Business Analyst with proven track record to progress business initiatives from point of inception through to specification of corresponding business requirements and liaison involvement during the development/delivery process.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with individuals at all levels of authority to identify, translate and specify business requirements for new and/or modified systems. Specifications will be required at both a high and low level of detail and will be expected to adhere to client standards. Extensive liaison with offshore and onshore development staff will be required to ensure compliance with requirements and delivery of a solution that meets expectations.
Applicants will require the following key skills and experience:
- Business Analysis and Data Modelling experience
- Working knowledge and application of an analysis methodology such as SSADM, DSDM, UML
- Practical (and demonstrable) experience in workshop facilitation, requirements gathering techniques and delivery of comprehensive business requirements specifications
The below are also desirable skills, and hence would prove beneficial to your application:
- ISEB Qualified
- Airline Industry knowledge
- System Architect experience
- Project Lifecycle appreciation
- Data Migration and System Integration experience
- Ability to prepare and execute system test scripts
