The Job
Technical Presales Manager - Specialised area: IN, Access, CPE
Purpose:
The Technical Presales Manager is a technical specialist providing product support and consulting for the sales team and customers with generally project based requirements in the telecommunications.
The Candidate
Ideally the successfull candidate will have experience and/or background within the Mobile network operators (e.g. Orange, O2, Vodafone) or Fixed line operator such as Cable & Wireless. The candidate would be in a very strong position if they had experience in the VAS (Value Added Services) environment, e.g. SMS, MMS, IN, WAP, Video, etc.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in pre-sale technical engagement with chosen customer and lead the development of technical proposals in line with customers needs.
Support customisation of products for specific customers as appropriate
Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all products and services.
Create sellable consulting packages based on own expertise.
5 years plus experience in solution design for data & IP solution provider
