Network/Desktop Support Engineer required by our client based close to Colchester and Ipswich (Essex/Suffolk Border). You will work as part of a dedicated team of professionals that offer the very highest level of technical support and customer service to a range of internal and external customers. Ideally, you will be MCSE accredited and have been working with Microsoft operating systems for 5+ years, including Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, 2000 and 2003 Server. You will have supported desktop systems for at least 3 years and have experience in working with development languages including VBScript and Shell Script, networks and TCP/IP. Additionally, you will have a proven track record of performing to and exceeding Service Level Agreements. Ideally you will also have some experience or qualification in the following areas:- SQL Server, Wide area networks, IIS, ISA. An excellent salary of up to £25k is available, depending on experience.
