SAGE SalesLogix Consultant/Developer
Dorset, Poole
£25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience + Company Pension + Company Car or allowance + BUPA depending on salary grade
Head quartered in Poole, Dorset, our client is a leading software house focused on the rapidly growing Business Process Management marketplace. They are looking to recruit a SAGE SalesLogix Consultant/Developer.
The role:
They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join a well established team. The role will encompass involvement in all stages of the project life-cycle including specification, design, coding, installation, support and training.
Applicants will have a proven and demonstrable track-record in SalesLogix development producing quality enhancements and integration and working to a detailed project plan.
Ideal candidates will have a general CRM background and associated qualification such as an I.T. Degree or professional qualification.
* Candidates will also have a strong knowledge of C#.NET and associated Microsoft technologies.
* Other essential qualities include excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to think laterally under pressure.
* Knowledge of any of SQL, COM, VB.NET or ASP.NET would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Researching, analysis and definition of value-add solutions
* Project Management and Development of value-add solutions
* Providing a source of accountable product expertise to the rest of the business
* Providing pre and post sales Consultancy internally and to Customers
* Providing pre-scribed and ad-hoc Education to Customers
* Providing testing and Quality Assurance services
* Taking ownership and providing resolution of product support incidents within Support Level Agreements (SLAs)
Experience and qualities:
* Minimum of some previous experience in Implementation of software solutions based upon Sage SalesLogix using available development tools and integration methods.
* Experience providing Consultancy, Training and Support services for SalesLogix
* Demonstrable understanding of business processes
* Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Customer facing approach
* Experience of working against SLAs
* Preferably educated to Degree level, although not essential
* Experience of testing and QA methods desirable although not essential
Remuneration and Package
* Salary range of between £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
* Company Pension
* Company Car or allowance
* BUPA depending on salary grade
