A highly successful mobile software vendor is looking to recruit a Solutions Architect for their South Coast office. My client is a global leader in providing innovative platform software solutions for the global wireless market with its product set for mobile content management, delivery, promotion and personalisation.
The overall purpose of the job is to be responsible for the design of technical solutions around existing products and surrounding technologies. This role will involve being the technical representative in the pre-sales cycle and a resource for sales people/account managers to call upon for technical responses.
The successful candidate will have a technical knowledge of mobile operator infrastructures. The willingness to travel occasionally to Europe is essential as is having excellent technical presentation skills. Knowledge of internet technologies such as (Web servers, HTTP, networking, TCP/IP, FTP, WAP etc), Technical environment includes Java, J2EE, J2ME, XML, XSLT, HTML, WML, BEA Weblogic, WebSphere, Solaris, UNIX, Oracle and Sun/HP/Intel hardware.
