Established in 1989, our client, an expanding computer systems house involved in the design and supply of Community Care based software applications targeted mainly at Local Authority Housing and Social Service Sectors. We currently have a vacancy for a Field Customer Support Engineer (CSE) to support our customers in the North, covering mainly the East Coast, Lincoln, Yorkshire and up to Newcastle. Candidates should have a qualification in Computers/ Communications, with at least 2 years customer support experience in a PC environment. Experience of PC hardware and Windows NT/2000/XP is essential plus ideally networks. The Role:Working as part of a team of 4 Field based Customer Support engineers responsible for the installation and maintenance of our Networked Computer systems covering the North. Being on 24 hour call on a Rota, 1 week in 4 basis. The Person:- We are looking for someone who has excellent customer facing skills and can communicate at all levels. A team, player who is confident in their own technical ability and in picking up new technologies and product areas in a short amount of time.
