Oracle Developer required by our client who is based in Crewe, Cheshire, close to Staffs. An in-depth knowledge of Database design is essential ; development with ORACLE RDBMS preferred. The successful applicant for this Senior Role will provide Design Leadership, having come from a background in software engineering, with in-depth knowledge of a range of software development tools and hardware environments, including UNIX and Web developments. You should be able to demonstrate a successful track-record in several project lifecycles utilising RAD and RUP, ideally with UML. Having experience of working in software development teams using extreme or agile development techniques for product development/delivery, you will be able to provide design leadership to ensure the future development of the company's market leading software systems. This important role will see you being a member of the team responsible for the development of the company's administration and reporting product, formulating database designs together with their development and testing. You will provide technical knowledge and mentoring to more Junior members of the development team. Excellent Salary to c£35K + benefits package including 5 weeks holiday pa, pension and health plan.
