Senior Application Developer / Lead Architect required by our client who is based in Crewe, Cheshire, close to Staffs. An in-depth knowledge of Database design is essential ; ORACLE RDBMS (preferred)/ SQL Server/ Oracle or similar. A background in software engineering with a range of software development tools and hardware environments would be expected, and experience of UNIX and Web developments will be needed. You should be able to demonstrate a successful track-record in several project lifecycles utilising RAD and RUP, ideally with UML. You will provide design leadership to ensure the future development of the company's market leading software systems and have experience of working in software development teams using extreme or agile development techniques for product development/delivery.
