Database Designer/ Developer ideally with skills in Oracle and PL/SQL (SQL Server or similar considered as an alternative) is required by our client based in Crewe, Cheshire (close to Staffs). Joining an in-house development team working on the creation of new online marketing software applications, you will have experience of working in software development teams using extreme or agile development techniques for product development and delivery and should be able to demonstrate a successful track-record in several project lifecycles utilising RAD and RUP, ideally with UML. In-depth knowledge of Database design is essential, and development with ORACLE RDBMS is preferred. A background in software engineering with a range of software development tools and hardware environments would be expected, and experience of UNIX and Web developments (Perl etc) will be needed.
