Senior Software Engineer (C, C++, GPS), North Herts, Cambridgeshire As a member of a GPS software team, act as a key contributor to complex embedded development projects. Actively participate in the definition, development and verification of future GPS devices and platforms. Team player with strong work ethic required. Role involves: Be responsible for software modules in C/C++ and Assembler for GPS products Work with the digital IC design team to verify DSP and ARM based devices Efficiently complete assigned tasks according to agreed project plans. Ensure a high level of quality in the deliverables Properly document work and procedures Provide regular reports on progress, requirements and status Qualifications University degree or similar in electrical engineering, computer science or other engineering discipline 3+ years experience in relevant development environment Proven teamwork with peers, other teams and departments Skills C and C++ programming language Embedded SW development experience, ideally both DSP and MCU Experience of HW/SW interfacing an advantage Experience of Pre-silicon verification an advantage Troubleshooting/debug methodology expertise For futher details, contact andrew@probecomms.co.uk on 0207 745 7213.
