Digital Hardware Design Engineer - (DSP, VHDL) We are currently looking for a Hardware design Engineer to operate as a senior member of the project team in the design, development, implementation, testing and support of the Polatis range of photonic switch products. Principal Duties: • Design and implementation of electronic hardware (schematic and pcb design). • Integration, testing, fault finding and repair of hardware and systems. • Preparation of design documentation to support development activities. • Support of other design aspects during the product development lifecycle. Candidate Profile: • Degree qualified in Electronic or Electrical and Electronic Engineering. • At least 5 years industrial experience, preferably in a telecomms environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex products against demanding timescales. • Evidence of strong practical skills desirable • Knowledge of one or more of the following (VHDL, high speed digital design, analogue filters, DSP, data conversion, telecommunication systems, EMC ).
