ASIC Test Engineer (ASIC, TEST, RF), Cambridge, £40K, ASAP We require a ASIC Test Engineer to design and implement test software and hardware for the products at all stages through the chip lifecycle (emulation, characterisation, production test, defect analysis). You will work closely with the design teams to specify, implement and debug fully automated test procedures in matlab and labview. You will also take analyse and report test results, and support various sub-contract test houses. Minimum requirements Bright engineer with at least 1 years experience in electronics Good degree, probably in computer science or electronic engineering. Good understanding of both hardware and software. Experience of RF test equipment and automation using GPIB Ability to use standard Windows office applications and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Self-starter with excellent communications skills. Ideal requirements In addition to the minimum, skills in one or more of the following specific areas would be an advantage: Knowledge of radio systems and performance parameters Knowledge of C programming language Knowledge of matlab or labview languages Unix shell scripting and/or Perl For further details, please contact andrew@probecomms.co.uk or 0207 745 7213.
