ASIC Verification Engineer (ASIC, SOC, Verilog) Cambridge, ASAP Our client is currently looking to build a Verification team and require all levels of ASIC verification engineers to achieve this ASAP. Minimum requirements Bright engineer with at least 5 years experience in ASIC design and verification Good knowledge of Verilog or VHDL coding Knowledge of System on Chip (SOC) Verification techniques Knowledge of radio systems and performance parameters Good degree, probably in computer science or electronic engineering. Understanding of both hardware and software. Good Mathematical skills. Ability to use standard Windows office applications and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Self-starter with excellent communications skills. Ideal requirements In addition to the minimum, skills in one or more of the following specific areas would be an advantage: Experience in the role of lead verification engineer Knowledge of C programming language Knowledge of matlab language Experience of RF test equipment and automation using GPIB Unix shell scripting and/or Perl For further details, please contact andrew@probecomms.co.uk on 0207 745 7213.
