Symbian Software Engineers (C++, Symbian), Birmingham, Cambridge, ASAP Our client is currently looking for a Software Engineer with experience of Symbian OS and over two years development experience of C++. The candidate will ideally be Qualified to degree level in computer science or software engineering. A solid track record in C++ software development for small footprint embedded devices. Specific experience of at least 3 years working with Symbian OS and preferably in a mobile phone development environment. On top of the Symbian and C++ skills, Any of the following would be a bonus, Hardware driver development, FEP, window servers, Series 60 user interface development, application development. An appreciation of user interface and usability aspects of mobile phone software design. An appreciation of code interoperability and maintenance issues. Willing to travel overseas occasionally, as required. The Salary is excellent and a strong career growth is available in this rapidly growing company.
