Characterization Software Engineer required by our client a world leader in wireless audio based in Cambridge. The primary role for this applicant will be to assist in running of the Characterization test systems that produce data for the client's reference data books. You will also be expected to assist in the production of test systems, this will include writing embedded C code, GUI applications under the Windows operating system, writing Matlab test scripts, using and implementing MYSQL Databases and assisting with the up keep of a web based booking and reporting system. To be considered for this role you should have experience of embedded C programming, a sound knowledge of Matlab and its use in a test environment, experience with MYSQL and/or Access Databases. Knowledge of HTML and PHP would be a definite advantage and a HNC, HND or degree is required.
