Technical Author / Support Specialist required by our client a software solutions provider based in Cambridge. Your main responsibility will involve writing, developing and editing product documentation including end-user manuals, release notes and online help. In addition to this you may be involved in creating and documenting example configurations, building and reviewing product demonstrations and creating tutorial material for use in training courses. You will also be involved in defining documentation requirements for new projects including specifying schedules and organizing reviews for use in training courses. To be considered for this role you will ideally have technical work experience in a software development environment and a working knowledge of VBScript, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, RoboHelp X5 and Adobe Acrobat would be an advantage. The ability to work from functional specifications and to liaise with developers is essential - graduates also considered.
