Our client, a leading UK bank, currently require an ETL Powermart developer for a long-term contract. The role will involve ETL development- design and Config Informatica Powercentre to meet business reqs for data extract and transformation. The code must be performant and scalable and will be wrapped by control m scheduling. In addition to the coding , you will be required to advise on Informatica product capabilities and alternative design/config solutions; documentation to required quality standards; support through system test and user acceptance testing. Candidates must have direct experience of implementation of Informatica in a financial services or finance function environment; 2-3 yrs using Informatica Powercentre V5 and six months using V6 (or 1 yr V6); Informatica Metadata Reporter ideally; 1-2 yrs Unix experience; basic shell scripting; 2 yrs Oracle V8 SQL programing and explain plans.
