Our client, a leading UK bank, currently require ETL powermart experts for a long-term contract. This contract will involve designing and configuring Informatica PowerCenter to meet business requirements for data extract and transformation. You will design code and unit test solutions; code must be efficient, performant, supportable and re-runable; to advise on Informatica product capabilities; Document design and config to client documentation quality standards; Support through system test, user acceptance testing & operations testing. Candiates must have direct experience implementing Informatica in a financial services/finance environment. Have 2-3 yrs experience using Informatica Powercentre v. 5 & six months v. 6 (or 1 yr v.6); knowledge of Informatica Metadata Reporter would be a distinct advantage; 1-2 yrs Unix experience; basic shell script programming; 2 yrs Oracle V8 SQL programming; experience of database design.
