Web Developer / Programmer - ASP.NET with C# and MS SQL Server
Leicestershire, Oadby, Leicester
£17,000 - £25,000 + Pension scheme + Pleasant working environment
Our client is a specialist web software development company based in south Leicester. They provide bespoke web applications to web design firms, marketing companies, and advertising agencies. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Web Developer with strong programming skills (ideally with some previous in a similar role) to join their existing team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Required skills include a strong ability in OOP techniques; a good knowledge of web-based software development; excellent communication skills; and good database design structure.
The company works only in ASP.NET with C# and MS SQL Server. However, candidates with strong OO ability in any language (C++, Java, etc.) will be considered.
It is critical that candidates must be able to develop fast, accurately predict timescales, and be self-motivated. Knowledge of XML/XSLT would also be an advantage. Good English communication skills along with a valid UK work permit are also required.
Applicants will have to pass a preliminary test, prior to an interview which will also include a live, in-house programming exam.
