Application Analyst Developer
Lancashire, Blackburn
£18,000 - £21000 + 34 days holiday inc bank holidays & Life Assurance plus optional BUPA and pension scheme
Our Client is dedicated to providing interactive learning solutions which enrich the teaching process, enlighten learners and inspire people with a passion to positively transform lives. They are looking to recruit an Application Analyst Developer.
In this vital role, you will assist in the production of business intelligence from the Salesforce.com CRM and the Infor ERP LN systems. In order to do this you will be trained in the use of Cognos 8 ReportNet and in the use of Salesforce reporting. Your skills in data manipulation will be an advantage in this aspect of the roll.
You will also assist in the development of systems. Here, your coding skills and systems analysis will come to the fore along with your web services experience. Initially we will link Salesforce with the ERP system using IBM Websphere. Where you will assist develop, test and deliver an end to end solution.
Above all, you must possess great problem solving ability, a high level of motivation and plenty of initiative and imagination.
The role covers:
* Production of Business Intelligence reports.
* Assist in the integration of systems
* Assist in data migration
* Assist in the development of new and existing systems
* Provide escalation support.
* Provide guidance in the use of Excel and Access to the business
Who they're looking for:
Must have:
* Recent Graduate
* Experience of C or Java coding
* Excellent Excel Skills
* Good Access Skills
Good to have:
* Knowledge of BI tools, Cognos 8 ReportNet being an advantage
* SQL Skills
* Understanding of ERP and CRM demonstrable from coursework
* Knowledge of Infor ERP LN or Salesforce.com
* Knowledge of scripting languages e.g. Perl
* Knowledge of Web Services, XML SOAP
* Knowledge of Websphere being an advantage
