This person must be capable of engaging with clients in a business context and translating their requirements into business solutions. The Senior Solutions Architect will define the solutions architecture for large scale, complex, medium risk or highly specialised assignments or pre-sales assignments that may lead to to major downstream revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Define scope and deliverables for projects to deliver architectures to meet client requirements
- Deliver assignments to scope, time, financial and quality targets
- Actively promote company services with clients and develop relationships leading to sales opportunities
Applicants will have the following key skills:
- Strong client engagement skills and experience
- Knowledge in Client Server, .NET, J2EE, Java, Main Frame as appropriate
- Good presenter
- Good written communications
- Commercially aware/good risk management experience
Also desirable are the following attributes and skills:
- Active in the market in industry groups etc.
- Able to work in or lead teams
- Able to share knowledge through coaching and mentoring of other architects, managers and the client
