Customer Services Assistant
High Wycombe
c. £17,000 + Pension Scheme & Health Care Benefits
Our client is a leading international supplier of flavouring to the global food and beverage industry. They currently have an opening for a highly organised Customer Services Assistant to join their High Wycombe office.
This is a challenging, varied and busy customer services role in which you will be given the freedom and responsibility to work independently and make the role your own.
You will be a key point of contact for all existing and prospective customers from around the world; handling incoming calls from customers who want to order flavours or have distinct flavours created. You will be liaising with the flavouring team and sending out samples to customers in a timely manner. Over time you will build up strong relationships with customers and use this to drive further business opportunities.
You will also be an integral part of the sales team, providing proactive support to the Account Managers. This will involve preparing presentations, maintaining filing systems, updating the customer database and providing administration support to help ensure customer deadlines are met
The successful candidate
They are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to join the team. It is important that you enjoy working within a busy, fast-paced environment and will ideally have previous customer service experience gained in a similar office environment.
You will have excellent administration skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must be confident working with numbers and above all a quick thinker with the ability to deal with issues that arise with the minimum of supervision.
It would also be an advantage if you could speak a foreign language, especially Russian to help with overseas communication.
