Customer Service Representative Administrator
West Midlands, Coventry
£11,500 - £12,500

Our client's ambition is to be ‘easiest to do business with' and within Customer Service this means ensuring that their customer's needs are identified and that they deliver against these needs quickly and efficiently. They are looking to recruit Customer service representatives to work in their back office processing department.
As Customer Service Representative Administrator you will carry out customer requests and administrative tasks by following defined procedures to agreed standards. Whilst work may be variable, it is typically straightforward in nature and rarely requires the use of discretion to determine action required. Role holders will need to be adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour:
* Good basic standard of verbal and numerical literacy
* Basic computer literacy Keyboard skills
* Awareness of relevant product features
* Understanding of relevant compliance procedures – how to identify and log breaches
* Ability to operate straightforward process steps (manually and/or using appropriate business systems)
* Ability to recognise and handle a range of standard transactions
* Ability to operate relevant software packages
* Ability to communicate effectively (verbally/in writing)
* Ability to identify and act on customer requirements
* Ability to demonstrate company values and behaviours
Key accountabilities:
* Apply standard procedures to process internal and external customer related instructions
* Identify common errors or discrepancies in information being processed and take action to rectify or refer the matter appropriately
* Maintain, develop and apply knowledge of relevant procedures so that quality targets are consistently met
* Develop the skills and behaviours targeted in the Personal Development Plan in order to support improved performance going forward
* Identify and refer opportunities to improve working practices in own area so that improvements can be made
* Record and maintain information on the relevant system in order to allow the completion of work to be tracked and internal records and management information to be kept up-to-date
* File and/or store documents in line with standard practices so that they can be accessed or retrieved in an efficient manner
* Undertake routine clerical duties to support the activities of the team or department
* Provide task based training to less experienced colleagues so that they Know how to complete defined processes.
