Our client is a well known Islington-based publisher/media organisation operating in student and youth marketing. They currently seek to recruit a Telesales Executive to join the team with an OTE of £25,000-£30,000.

Your primary job purpose is to lead-source quality relevant information on potential local advertiser clients. You will then use this information to arrange qualified, confirmed appointments facilitating the sale of the company's media portfolio. You will arrange these sales meetings and enable field sales staff to present the company's media in a positive light, conveying the relative benefits of the media, maximise revenue opportunities and ensuring accurate order placement.

You will have a solid tele-sales background, ideally within advertising, and a must-win mentality! Reporting to the Group Operations Director and Managing Director, your main duties will be to:

- Source and collate relevant prospect client data using a contact management database.
- Make calls following the telesales script. Overcome objections and be able to close by arranging qualified appointment at any point in the conversation.
- Plan appointments in an efficient manner
- Complete reports and paperwork accurately and promptly
- Be aware of how you and the team are performing in terms of appointments booked and converted
- Raise any difficulties or problems with the management
- Ensure effective use of software and hard copy files to record your efforts / prospects

The successful applicant will benefit from training including:

- Training manual which you will be expected to know thoroughly
- Role-play workshops with the Group Operations Director
- Actual-on-the-job training, observing the field sales staff generating leads and making calls

and will be assessed using the following Key Performance Indicators:

- Number of leads generated
- Number of quality appointments made
- Efficiency of appointments made (i.e. no cancellations)
- Level of sales (see-to-sell ratio)
- Accuracy of reports and inputting of information
