Customer Service Executive Media Renewal Sales Executive

£17,000 - £18,000 + Performance related bonus
Our client now forms Europe's largest marketplace for holiday homes, offering over 29,000 properties worldwide. They are looking to recruit a European Advertising Sales Executive - Media Sales, Telesales.
The role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a great opportunity for a person with a friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible calling those advertisers who have not yet renewed their subscriptions.
- This is not a hard sell environment; however you must be able to close business. Our customers need to invest time and effort using our online systems to maximise their return from advertising on the company's site. You will therefore need to possess the ability to develop relationships, sell the benefits of the system and encourage people to use the systems correctly.
- You will have performance targets however you will work on salary and bonus, rather than just commission. You will have significant customer service and telesales experience
- Your main duties will be following up with those that have not yet renewed their subscriptions but you will also be handling some pre-sales enquiries, both via telephone and e-mail and up-selling current subscribers when new products are available.
Skills and experience required:
- Significant customer service experience, previous sales experience will be beneficial, preferably in a media sales environment
- Passionate about the Internet
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- General computer skills incl. MS office
- Outgoing personality

Our client is based in London and founded in January 1996. It has recently been acquired by a global network of industry leading for rent by owner' holiday home sites. The client represents over 65,000 holiday rentals properties and serves over 28 million users annually through their global network of sites. Due to spectacular growth they now need a new key member for their sales team.
A salary from £18,000 p.a. plus a performance related bonus is offered for this appointment, plus the opportunity to grow with this exciting internet company.
