A vacancy has arisen to join a leading sports Internet betting company as a Swedish Internet Translator. Working as part of their multi-lingual team based at Rayners Lane (NW London on the Metropolitan Line) you will play a key role in ensuring the Swedish website is consistently and effectively promoting the products and services to the target markets.
The main activities of the position will include the following areas:
- Ensuring the website is kept up-to-date in terms of the promotion of new betting opportunities within the Swedish market.
- Reviewing online products against those of our competitors and ensuring the website is responsive to the needs of the relevant market.
- Accepting bets over the telephone in Swedish.
- Dealing with customer queries in Swedish both over the telephone and via e-mail.
- Ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the department.
- Prioritising sporting events in order of importance in your geographic area and promote accordingly.
Applicants must be fluent in English and Swedish both verbally and in writing and thorough testing will be undertaken at interview stage to ensure fluency. In addition, a keen interest in sports, particularly of European football, would be a distinct advantage.
The individual should demonstrate good interpersonal skills to enable effective working relationships to be established. Finally, the successful candidate will be required to work as part of a roster pattern, therefore a flexible approach is necessary.
