Our client is an expanding IT Software and Services company, which specialises in providing systems to Connexions Partnerships & Careers Education and Guidance providers. Based in Cheshire, the company also has an office in Cornwall where the software development team are based. We are looking to recruit a further member of the support team here in Cheshire, to work in the following areas :- To develop data analysis and reporting solutions for customers using Crystal Reports etc. To assist in the support and maintenance of the Companys software products, written using Delphi. To assist in providing a telephone helpline service to customers for both applications software and general IT issues and problems, with specific emphasis on Reporting and Management Information. To provide on-site support and training where necessary to those customers. Accurate recording of Customer support calls onto a computerised system. Requirements: As many of the following as possible:- Exposure to Relational Databases, preferably Sybase. Proven experience of writing reports using Crystal Reports or similar products on SQL style databases Data Analysis skills Knowledge of SQL Windows Operating Systems. Data communications environments. Experience of a Customer service environment. Experience of software lifecycle. Personal Skills: A Clean Driving Licence is essential. A responsible and mature attitude. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with customers and present a professional image. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Salary is dependant on experience but in the area of £19,200 pa. A company car can be supplied if required. Other benefits are private medical insurance and a company pension.
