We are currently looking for an experienced and insightful Economic modeller to join our consultancy client’s analysis team. Predicting the cost implications involved in the depreciation of business assets will be your primary job role. Working alongside statistical analysts who will establish the ‘when-and-where’ aspects of the project, your responsibility will be the prediction and modelling of reparation costs and pricing versus profitability. You should be familiar with Bayesian analysis and all appropriate econometric techniques. Coupled with a good numerical degree, our client is looking for those with 3+yrs relevant commercial work history. Those with modelling experience from within the utility and other large-scale sectors would be of definite interest, as would their knowledge of statistical packages (SAS, S-Plus, SPSS etc). With various new projects soon to be undertaken, this is vital time for our client. To work in this rapidly expanding company team leadership skills will be essential as well as being able to deliver high quality within tight time schedules.
