Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for a successful company that is growing rapidly? Are you looking for a varied and interesting role?
Our client is a professional payroll outsourcing company that has expanded and grown constantly since it was founded. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Controller to assist the Payroll Manager with running weekly, fortnightly, monthly and bi-monthly payrolls to strict deadlines for up to 2000 employees. You will be working within a friendly team and assisting in a very fast paced environment ensuring a smooth and effective operation.
You will have had at least 1 years experience in a similar role and ideally gained in a customer services or client facing industry. You will have a professional approach and excellent communication skills able to respond to people and build upon existing client relationships. You will be self motivated and a good team player with high levels of commitment and energy.
You will have a sound working knowledge of SMP, SPP, SAP, SSP etc and experience of SAGE systems are highly desirable. You will be able to manage a heavy workload and prioritise effectively, you will have a methodical approach and a good eye for detail.
Good I.T skills are essential as you will be processing expense payments, pensions and BUPA as well as general office duties.
Own transport is essential.
