This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading consultancy established over 60 years ago currently employing over 300 staff located across a network of 6 offices throughout the UK. Delivering high quality services into specific market sectors which include retail / leisure, professional consultancy, public sector, technology and commercial development. Offering a range of services to include Project Management, Cost consultancy, Building Surveying, Risk Management and Health and Safety. Due to there continued success they have an immediate requirement for a Health and Safety Consultant to join there team in Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have 1 years commercial experience, you will be responsible for delivering planning / health and safety supervision as a core service on a number of construction contracts throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for Health and Safety audits, Health and Safety construction site inspections and policy writing / auditing. You will also be responsible for the preparation of Risk Assessments.
You will have experience in construction or design consultancy and a thorough knowledge of the application of the CDM Regulations 1994. You will have a proven track record in providing practical and effective advice to a range of clients in the public sector and in developing new business opportunities. NEBOSH would be advantageous, though not necessarily in Construction. Immediate interviews are available.
