My client is one the most prestigious and recognizable names in the UK Construction market. They are about to open a new South East office in Fleet, amalgamating staff from 2 other local offices in Surrey. The region they cover is predomiantly Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire and typically run new build projects between £5-15m. At the moment turnover is a modest £25m but there are clear growth plans to take the regional business to £50m in the next few years. You should be a well rounded Estimator with at least 10 years experience with a hands-on attitude capable of working on your own and with other commercial staff. The ability to think laterally and work with Quantity Surveyors and clients is key. As the regional office develops further Estimators will be required at which stage the role will become more management orientated. Salary for the role is negotiable, finding the right candidate that fits rather than a salary package that fits is of higher priority to my client.
