Our client is a multidisciplinary Property Consultancy operating throughout the UK and Europe. Established for over 90 years, they now employ over 200 people via an integrated office network comprising ten regional offices. The company has based its reputation upon building long-standing relationships as trusted advisors to our clients working hard to understand the key drivers of their client's business and, working with them to provide solutions to their property issues.
We are now seeking a Valuer to join the Rating Team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of valuation for rating purposes, experience of negotiation of rating appeals, and understanding of rate liability calculations and preferably knowledge of the property market in major centres in Scotland. The candidate will be able to negotiate rating appeals and to offer advice and recommendations to clients regarding these appeals and rating matters generally. The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic, a good team player and highly motivated.
