Our client, a leading Project Management Consultancy, is seeking a site based project manager to work on a high profile building construction & refurbishment project in Norwich. This project is on a listed building so experience in this area is beneficial, but you must at least have refurbishment experience with old properties. Your experience must also include extensive project work overseeing refurbishment & construction within tight time-scales with a comprehensive understanding of construction techniques & an extensive background in the building industry. The role involves co-ordinating with the client and overseeing the work undertaken by the various sub-contract firms on site. So you will need to be equally comfortable on site and in client meetings. Working hours are likely to be either a 7 am or 4 pm start with 10-hour days. This is part of an ongoing programme of work throughout the UK so additional future opportunities are a very real possibility.
