Quantity Surveyor - Retail / Hotels – Leeds

My client is a leading UK construction consultancy that has been consistently delivering effective solutions to there clients' businesses for the last 70 years. They are involved in a range of projects from prestigious office developments to high profile PFI/PPP projects with a mix of sectors including retail, commercial, transportation, healthcare, leisure and PFI.
They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based from their office in Leeds
It is likely that you will join at the beginning of a project with an immediate start date. The client requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a new build hotel project valued at around £10m. You will also simultaneously be working on retail projects both new build and refurbishment.
There will be a large amount of both pre and post contract analysis associated with the position.
Skills
• A successful candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years post degree experience
• Ideally with a consultancy background within the construction industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the role is very client facing
• The successful candidate will be expected to bring in business and win fees
Benefits
• £28,000-£32,000 per annum depending upon experience
