Leading international Property Consultancy currently employing over 3000 people within 25 different countries with projected turnover of in excess of £150 million and over £5bn of construction per annum is handled by the business, and over two million m² of facilities are advised on or managed.
Due to new to instructions they currently require a number of highly talented and ambitious Project Manager to work on a range of commercial commissions, ranging in value from between £5m-£30m. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, the Project Manager will play an important role in the delivery of high quality projects and in building and maintaining strong working relationships with Clients. There is a commitment to deliver a high quality project management service from the office, and support will be given to develop professionally and obtain a formal qualification in project management.
You will be responsible for initiating planning and controlling projects through to completion, managing the broader implications of projects in order to achieve the best value for the Client, and being able to demonstrate this. Creating a team environment in which everyone is committed to producing a quality outcome. Gaining the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication, maintaining and developing Client relationships and managing client expectations at all times,
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have minimum 3 years project management experience, directly responsible for controlling projects in excess of £5m, have the confidence in their own ability to lead and manage the Client and project team, have a clear understanding of the project management process and design & build procurement,
Be diligent and forward thinking, with a commitment to delivering a high quality service, going the extra mile when necessary. You will also be able to take a global view and have an inherent ability to get the job done - a clear thinker, well organised, demonstrating attention to detail when appropriate.
